Extremely common here. Curse them for being so photogenic and iconic.
Found on a stone near a creek in September near dusk. The area was open with both dead and verdant weeds and grass. Surprisingly, there were not many out that evening in that area, as usually they are found in relatively large amounts or even swarms.
