Description:

Small (3mm) black, knobby and hairy (almost spiny) weevil. All the knobs and spines collect a lot of debris, helping to hide him from predators. Family Curculionidae.

Habitat:

Garden lights, on a rock wall, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
