Meenoplid Planthopper

Nisia australiensis

Habitat:

This one was stuck to a car by the dew. It was near a light in a driveway in apartments blocks with the nearest garden of exotic plants a few metres away. The light hits the white car and attracts a lot of insects

Notes:

# purple fulgoroid planthopper. http://www1.dpi.nsw.gov.au/keys/fulgor/m... Not 100% certain. The wing looks right but it is outside the known range
