Helianthus annuus

A bunch of them are growing in front of the porch where seeds fell from the winter bird feeders. Although these are growing from seeds of a cultivar bought at the store, they were not exactly cultivated here at our place, and are not tended in any way.

In front of the porch which catches full morning sun until about 1pm. We received lots of rain this spring.
