Tropical kingbird

Tyrannus melancholicus

Description:

I've been looking at these beautiful birds almost since they came out of the nest, I had never seen the bright orange patch, for a moment I was confused about the species but this is, indeed, a tropical kingbird. The back is grayish green with yellow underparts. He is a passerine with a beautiful song. They feed mainly on insects, frogs and fruit.

Habitat:

Tropics of America, barely reaches the US in south Texas and southern Arizona.
