Anhinga melanogaster

Description:

A common water bird species that lives around lakes and large rivers in forests. Anhinga melanogaster is also called as the Snakebird for it's long slender neck.

Habitat:

Maliau Basin Study Center lake, Maliau Basin, Tawau, Sabah.

Notes:

Found this bird one morning during our birdwatching activity around the MBSC lake. This bird is photographed through my monocular. >>>Map accuracy : 5km diameter.
