Oenanthe oenanthe
Female. Bird with a very characteristic tail design. Males are blue-grey back, which include the black wings, the ochre underparts and black mask. Females have more ochre upper parts and do not have the mask. The design of the white tail which ends with an inverted black T, is very striking, in both sexes. Terrestrial bird, it likes to walk and jump on the ground, and also pose, with erect bearing, on stones, rocks and other promontories of the terrain. Their flight is direct, with a quick shake of wings.
It prefers open landscapes. Spotted at alpine terrain with bushes, rocks and alpine meadows. Parque Natural de Sierra de Gredos
