Suburban canal at the edge of the weeds and lily pads growing along the shore, afternoon

Caught this guy in my little eight foot boat while trolling a little Rapala crank bait along the edge of the lily pads

Yeah! I've never had it, but lots of people in the southern US like to make em into fried fish cakes
