Description:

A medium-sized finch with a large bill with crossed mandibles. Males have pink bodies; females and immatures are olive green, sometimes with streaking. Both sexes have black wings with two white bars (On this bird, the first white bar is covered up by feathers).

Notes:

Feeding on cones in an ornamental pine tree.
