Hairy Woodpecker and Dark-eyed Junco

Picoides villosus and Junco hyemalis

Habitat:

Suburban

Notes:

The interaction of the birds at the mesh feeder was very interesting to observe. They would jostle for space and the little birds usually would not attempt going if there was a bigger bird

I could identify the junco, but not the woodpecker. I thought that the red V on top of its head was very neat, however I don't see that on other images of the Hairy Woodpecker. I have a few other images of this same bird, I'll upload them as well, they show other angles of the bird.
