Eastern Water Dragon

Physignathus lesueurii lesueurii

Notes:

We saw this small but very colourful Eastern Water Dragon in Conondale National Park near Booloumba Creek. I am constantly amazed by the colour variation in this species.

Thanks Maria! I was stoked with how these pics came out - I wasn't able to get very close to him at all and the light was poor. It was one of the very few decent shots I managed to take yesterday!

Fabulous Shanna. I like the colour mix with the leaves.
