Camouflaged Stink Bugs

Description:

This group of dark green stink bugs (Family Pentatomidae) were very well camouflaged among the leaves. There is a group of 4 eggs in the first picture and a large hidden nymph in the last picture that we didn't know was there until we saw the photos!! The adults have two large spines on the tail end of the abdomen and bright red legs and antennae.

Habitat:

In a small tree along the river, Chorreadero Park above Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas, Mexico.

Notes:

See spotting for the nymph: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/175...

Beautiful series! Love the pearls, too!

Lovely Series! I love the pearls on the leaf. Is it their eggs?
