Common Starling

Sturnus vulgaris

Description:

Body brownish black with white dots . It has long thin bill and wings are almost equal to body length with short wide tail (in winter season). In summer pulmage color changes to glossy blue - green color with yellow bill and pinkish legs. It shows moulting in both seasons.

Habitat:

In semi urban area of Patiala , seen in Winter season .... migratory. Native to Europe and Western Asia .
