Wasp mimic jumping spider

Rhene flavicomans

Description:

Although through close-up it seems a real hulk, it's actually very small at about 4mm. Very timid and slow moving, a photographer's delight. Spectacular markings mimicking a wasp. Not commonly seen.

Habitat:

Spotted in my terrace garden on a Moringa plant.
