Flea Beetle

Alticini gen. sp.

Description:

Just a few days ago, I spotted a very similar Flea Beetle - https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/10....... but it was in the farm, about 500 yards away from our backyard, where I saw this one, today. As far as I know, I have never seen this exact kind of Alticini in our area. So, I am hoping that my spottings of these two specimens might indicate that (if they are new to our area) they might be establishing a permanent presence here. Newcomers are welcome - the more, the merrier! :-)

Habitat:

This Flea Beetle was spotted in our backyard vegetable plot, on an Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.), commonly called Talong in the Philippines. Plant information from - http://www.stuartxchange.org/Talong.html.............
