Great frigatebird

Fregata minor

Description:

Great Frigatebirds will attempt kleptoparasitism, chasing other nesting seabirds (boobies and tropicbirds in particular) in order to make them regurgitate their food. We found them wherever they were boobies in particular, & got to watch numerous examples of their avian piracy.

Habitat:

Isla Genovesa, Galapagos
