Dog Lichen sp.?

According to 'Lanc Lad' on wildaboutbritain.co.uk with regards to a similar looking spotting: 'These are Dog Lichen - Peltigera but I'm not sure which species. (Approx. 90+ species in the Peltigera genus). Most people would simply class them as lichens, but to be accurate Peltigera are lichenized fungi.'
