Buteo lineatus extimus
Raptor with hawk-like feature. 12 - 15 inches from beak to tail. Light cream to brown breast and wings. Brown to black bars on wings with reddish shoulders
Dry upland located next to swamp area. Bald cypress stands.
Not great shots but was curious about the bird type. Resembled a red shouldered hawk but was very light in color.
Thank you Liam. I thought red-shouldered but wasn't certain. You're always good for the raptor I'D.
