Green Frog

Lithobates clamitans

Description:

Probably around 5 cm. Brownish-greenish with a brighter green chin. Has spots.

Habitat:

Spotted in Bruce Peninsula National Park, but near a lake, not near the cold peninsula part. Found virtually near any type of permanent body of water.

Notes:

Distinct eardrums. Can be different in colour -- brown, green, bronze or even blue. Have green on their upper lip.
