Description:

Vine with medium-green, heart-shaped leaves and light blue flowers with white centers.

Habitat:

Wild plant growing along a fence in an open area in east-central Georgia. This spotting was observed at Phinizy Swamp Nature Park near Augusta, GA.

Notes:

One of the Ipomoea, just not sure which one.

This one has me perplexed, the leaves look like those of I. coccinea, which it is obviously not. I have never seen I. hederacea var. integriuscula leaves with those slight lobes and points, not that it does not occur. Could it be an intermediate of two varieties?
