Long-horned Grasshopper

Description:

Also known as a Katydid, this Tettigoniidae insect mimics a green leaf to camouflage itself on green vegetation. It has a short curved ovipositor that is seen clearly in picture 1.

Habitat:

Rainforest of Maliau Basin. Found this on the wooden wall of Bambangan hostel.
