Mute swan

Cygnus olor

Description:

Juvenile, grayish - brown. Fairly large bird.

Habitat:

Found by the river bank in Zagreb.

Notes:

Found this one while walking the dog. As I have a Weimaraner, it was funny to watch him point the swan then creeping slowly towards it. Then they had a bit of stand off while swan was puffing at us and being fairly aggressive. After that we went our separate ways. Needles to say dog was fairly confused :)
