Mimus polyglottos
Known for mimicking other birds, this grey bird has darker color on wings with a white patch. Underparts are a lighter grey to white in color. Has a slight eye mask. Has a black bill and yellowish eyes. Wags it's tail up and down and seems to get into mischief.
Can be found in fields, farmlands, roadsides, city parks, suburban areas, and open grassy areas with thickets and brushy deserts.
Spotted this near a path in Hercules.
