Northern Mockingbird

Description:

Known for mimicking other birds, this grey bird has darker color on wings with a white patch. Underparts are a lighter grey to white in color. Has a slight eye mask. Has a black bill and yellowish eyes. Wags it's tail up and down and seems to get into mischief.

Habitat:

Can be found in fields, farmlands, roadsides, city parks, suburban areas, and open grassy areas with thickets and brushy deserts.

Notes:

Spotted this near a path in Hercules.
