Scaly-breasted Lorikeet

My husband Nathan took these shots of a scaly-breasted lorikeet in a tree in our neighbour's yard. The quality as poor as the bird was a long distance away, but we were pretty pleased to get the pics as we don't often see them here. The book 'Wildlife of Greater Brisbane: A Queensland Museum Wild Guide' states the population in the Greater Brisbane area is declining.
