I found this little guy on the toolbox on my Dad's truck. Does anyone know what kind of bird it is?
Actually the more I am looking at this the more I think it may be a juvenile Barn Swallow. I'm not so sure.
Hmmm...I'm pretty sure it is in the Hirunidae family which consist of the martins and swallows. I would say this is a female Purple Martin (maybe still in the juvenile phase). However I am unsure with the variation of subspecies. I don't think females this pale are found on the east side of the U.S.
