Description:

Gorgeous orange moth. Large. About 4 inches from wing tip to wing tip.

Habitat:

The bamboo walls of the cottage at Neora Valley Jungle Camp. Village Kolakham...a remote, forested and hilly area that was just opening up to tourism... much of teh village has been destroyed by landslides in June.

Notes:

This one was sitting halfway up the wall...there was another that was sitting at the bottom of the bottom; almost at floor level. Posted for National Moth Week 2015 NMW 2015
