Habitat:

Nest in mountainous and hilly areas, where they forage above forests, meadows, canyons, cliffs, and pinnacles.

Notes:

Some blurry photos of these areal acrobats. There were large numbers nesting here and flying high above in the early morning and evening near their nests. Very difficult to photograph from the ground due to the height and speed of their flying. They are not called swifts for nothing. LOL I managed to get one sitting on a ledge in the evening but it was in shadow. (see last photo)
