This red squirrel was investigating me as I was turkey hunting. It let off a series of barks and chatters to alarm others as well.
The red squirrel was living in edge or transition habitat, with young forests and fields on either side. The squirrel was spotted in a small stand of mature sugar maples and ash trees.
