It has a typical wingspan of 45-50 mm for males and 49-53 mm for females. Adults are on wing year round, but are more common from October to April.

Habitat:

Found on local fynbos at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

What an unusual butterfly (at least it would be in my neck of the woods.) I find the transparency in butterflies and moths so striking.
