I found this snake under a rock in my yard in dry soil with a lot of pines around.

Very nice! They are venomous, but are also rear-fanged and aren't aggressive so nothing for humans to worry about :)

It does have nice bright colors that aren't warning colors. These snakes are totally harmless and I've never seen one act aggressively in any way, no matter how much you handle them.
