Luna moth caterpillars

Actias luna

Description:

Our entomologist friends asked us to help rear Luna moth caterpillars: "Luna moths, like all our giant silkmoths, are not doing very well in part because of parasitism by an invasive tachinid fly. Rearing the caterpillars indoors and releasing the adults may be a help to local populations."
