Description:

Large bromelliad colony growing in a dwarf live oak tree. 3 to 4 feet in width and 18-24 inches in height. Currently a flower staklk is extending from the center of most of the individual plants.

Habitat:

Located on the rough of the Old Course, Broken Sound Country Club. Colony is growing in a wide dwarf live oak tree

Thank you @ceherzog. These native pygmy live oaks have these Tillandsia growing on them naturally. I've been watching them since I discvered them. They are just about ready to bloom. Will post the pics when it happens.
