Eastern grey squirrel (Florida)

Sciurus carolinensis

Description:

Small grey rodent of 8 to 10 inches in height. Large bushy tail.

Habitat:

Located in a pygmey live oak with a stand of Tillandsia also inhabitin ght e trees. Next to a golf course and office park. Moderately wooded.

Notes:

Took these shot because of the fact I had not seen squirrels drink or even get inside of these Tillandsias. I have taken shots before of this Tillandsia stand and would always envision tree frogs in the water filled centers, never squirrels drinking the water too. Of course, why not.
