Undetermined galls

Description:

Swellings on this silver-gum leaf (Eucalyptus) are caused by an unknown agent and may be bites or eggs or total organisms inside. The silver color of the leaves is a waxy protective coating but has not worked well on this parasite. They cover most leaves on this tree particularly the younger leaves. They do not occur on any other gum species.
