Banana-spotting or Fruit-Spotting Bug

Amblypelta sp.

Notes:

This is either a banana-spotting bug (A. lutescens) or a fruit-spotting bug (A. nitida). Apparently they look very similar and are difficult to tell apart. I found it on my passionfruit vine. The ant in the second shot looks like it's attacking the bug, but I think it was just passing through.
