Also known as Band Eyed Drone Fly . It is easily identified by its yellow banded compound eyes . Thorax is marked with yellow stripes . Abdomen also has rounded yellow stripes like other hover flies but abdomen is thicker than other flies.
Found on Mustard Flowers at my hometown .
