Pisauridae
Nursery Web Spiders attract attention because of their large size. The female carries her huge egg sac in her jaws. Many Nursery Web Spiders can run over the surface of water. If chased, they dive and stay submerged for some time. Eight eyes equal in size and three tarsal claws.
They may sit quietly for hours, legs spread out on vegetation or boat docks, or they may hunt actively in vegetation. Their vision is good.
