Corallimorph Decorator Crab

Cyclocoeloma tuberculata

Description:

A small decorator crab that uses soft corals, ascidians and disc anemones to cover it's carapace. Usually distinguished from other decorator crabs with its relatively short legs with black banding and its penchant for disc anemones (Discosoma spp.)

Notes:

Night dive. Depth of about 7 m. Halo Anilao house reef, Batangas, Philippines
