Unknown coral fungus. Pale yellow coloration, mild odor. Fairly firm, smooth texture.
Temperate forest. Rockwood Park, Virginia
It was not really as large as it appears. Extension tubes do wonders. :-) It was probably around the size of a small orange. But I agree, very cool! :-)
