Description:

Quite large bird 40-50cm, prey bird. Dark brown to light brown feathers, lighter on the highlight of the wings and the head, quite dark in the chest and back. Curved yellow beak and yellow bare skin around the beak, yellow legs and feet.

Habitat:

Seen in large trees in open park in suburban Bangalore.

Notes:

Constantly cruising for rodents and squirrels and often worrying the small flocks of birds around the park as well.
