Description:

Small (wingspan 12 mm) with very broad rounded black wings banded in white. Feeds on grasses, jumps well, but flies weakly.

Habitat:

Grassveld, bushveld and subtropical forest. Spotted at Roodeplaat Dam, Pretoria
