Habitat:

Beaches, flats, shallow lakes, prairie ponds. On shallow waters and extensive mudflats, both along coast and in the interior.

Notes:

Another exciting first spotting for me. There was a group busily feeding through out this pond. That's an impressive bill. Non-breeding plumage.
