Water Monitor Lizard

Description:

The lizard was around 4 feet long, and around a foot tall. It had grey skin, which was tinted yellow. It had a blue tongue that it kept flicking in the air. It stood motionless like this for around 5 minutes, the slipped into the pond. (Shown in the background). It was solitary.

Habitat:

This was actually found in the garden area of an Apartment building.

Notes:

It may have been sunning itself.
