Description:

Herbaceous plant Dicot Foliage is 2-3 feet tall Flower stems are 3-4 feet tall Has yellow flowers Planted in a woodland styled environment Leaves vary from palm size to dinner plate size

Habitat:

Woodland environment Temperate climate Chinook region Lives in a mulched bed 6 feet from a small pond High traffic area alongside path in botanical garden

Notes:

Strong specimen, flowering well into October without any leaf die back. The plant is situated in a sheltered area surrounded by mature trees, with a partially shaded exposure. Appears to be spreading around its base through its roots.
