Tricholoma Mushroom

Tricholoma sp.

Description:

Round, fairly flat cap. Off-white outer edge with irregular tan in the middle. White stem. White gills. Sparse white spore pattern. Faint mushroom aroma

Habitat:

In a meadow beneath a gum tree in short grass that is only intermittently mown and rarely disturbed otherwise. The soil is clay.

That species appears to be limited to more northern regions such as Asia and India but the genus is worldwide so until I can look further I will put the genus?
