Description:

This is a flowering evergreen plant, forming mats on the ground. Fluffy lilac flowers are some 10cm tall.

Habitat:

Found covering the ground between naked rocks, on the sun-exposed sides of a walking path, edges of coniferous forest. Found on a mountain pass in Jura mountain range.
