Description:

Circular orange shelf fungus ~ 1 inch diameter.

Habitat:

Lowland insular tropical mesic mixed forest and shrubland.

Notes:

Spotted on deadwood alongside the Ehukai Pillbox Trail near the top of the bluff behind the coastal strand on the North Shore of Oahu.

Jellis - Thanks for the ID. Pycnoporus cinnabarinus would have been my choice as well, but I've found more than one orange polypore, so I wanted a second opinion.
