Jackfruit

Aphelandra cristata

Description:

This is the Jackfruit, it is a native plant that grows right here in Singapore. The length of the jack fruit is about 7 inches and the width is about 3 inches, but the sizes can vary due to when it is going to ripe. The whole tree is about 10 - 15 feet tall. It is in a light green color. I think the Jackfruit has special reasons why the outside is thorny. Maybe the Jackfruit doesn't want any animals or anything doing anything on it.

Habitat:

It's habitat is the rainforest and other different kinds of forests.
