Bubo virginianus
This is "Vladimir", as a friend of mine affectionately calls him! I have tried to find him and his mate "Veronica" a handful of times with little success. Today after work I decide to try my luck again. Veronica is on eggs and has been for 3 weeks. If it wasn't fore her tail feathers sticking out of the nest I would have never found them. They live in a greenbelt near a complex of offices so they are very used to people and didn't mind me approaching. Can't wait to see babies in a few weeks! Fingers crossed for them!

I will add to the mission Susi!
This could go in the Animal Architecture mission.
Very cool indeed!
Thanks Joshua! It's always exciting to see an owl since they are so reclusive! I'd love to find a bard owl! :-/
awesome spotting and congratulations on finally finding them! or at least one of them ;p
