Artocarpus Heteropyllus
The jack fruit was very hard. It had a yellow-greenish color to it. The fruits that we saw were not all fully grown. Some of them were very small. They were all of over the tree, not just in one specific location. Some were up high and some were near the bottom.
The area was very shady. And not much sunlight came through the trees. It wasn't surrounded by any other jack fruit trees, it was just that one.
The jack fruit tree is widely cultivated in tropical regions in certain countries. It is also known in East Africa.
